Ten elected supporters working directly with the club on the issues that matter most to Aston Villa fans — including the Culture Working Group behind this map.
What is the FAB?
The Fan Advisory Board (FAB) is a group of Aston Villa supporters, elected to represent fans' views directly to the club. It gives supporters a formal seat at the table on matters that affect the matchday experience, ticketing, communication and the club's wider relationship with its fanbase.
The current board was formed in 2025, with ten members selected from a field of over 500 applicants — reflecting how much appetite there is among Villa supporters to have a real, structured voice in how the club is run.
How it works
The FAB meets regularly with the club, keeps formal minutes of its discussions, and organises its work through a small number of working groups, each focused on a specific area of supporter interest. One of these is the Culture Working Group, which shapes the board's thinking on supporter experience and club identity — everything from matchday atmosphere to how Villa Park and the surrounding area tell the story of the club and its community.
This Cultural Map grew directly out of that Culture Working Group's work: a practical way to connect supporters and the wider Aston community to the history, music and heritage that make Villa Park and its surroundings what they are.

The FAB exists to represent supporters, so the more fans who are connected to it, the stronger that voice is. Join the mailing list to hear about the board's work and the ways you can get involved.
